Within the scope of the President’s Decree numbered 3910 published in the Official Gazette dated 23.04.2021, in accordance with the Provisional Article 23 of the Unemployment Insurance Law (“Law”) numbered 4447, it has been reported that the short work allowance period has been extended for workplaces where short work is applied due to compelling reasons arising from external effects because of new coronavirus (Covid-19).

In this context, the duration of the short-time working allowance has been extended until for the 30.06.2021 workplaces that have applied for short-time work until 31.01.2021 (including this date).

This decision takes effect on the date of its publication, effective from 01.04.2021.
