The Board of Protection of Personal Data has re-postponed the deadline for registration to the Data Controller Registry (“Registry”) with the decision dated 11.03.2021 and numbered 2021/238.

In this regard, the deadline for registration to Registry has been postponed until 31.12.2020 (including this date) for the below data controllers:

• Real and legal persons of which the annual number of employees is more than 50 or the sum of annual financial balance is more than 25 million Turkish Liras,

• Real and legal persons settled abroad,

• Real and legal persons of which the annual number of employees is less than 50 and the sum of annual financial balance is less than 25 million Turkish Liras and of which the main field of activity is processing of special personal data,

• Public authorities and institutions.
