Fatoş has deep sectoral expertise in banking, finance, capital markets, financial services regulation, fintech, crypto-assets, and information technology. She regularly advises on both cross-border and domestic financing transactions, including acquisition, project, corporate, and asset financings, as well as other hybrid structures. Her experience spans a broad range of transactions such as FI, bilateral, syndicated, and ECA-covered loans, as well as commodity financings, NPL transactions, IPOs, securitizations, public offerings, and derivatives.
In addition to her work in traditional banking, finance, and capital markets, Fatoş possesses a strong practical command of emerging sectors—particularly financial technologies and crypto-assets.
Fatoş is also well-versed in corporate and commercial law, advising clients on a wide range of operational and transactional matters. Her practice covers cross-border investments, strategic partnerships, and M&A transactions across multiple industries, including technology, e-commerce, defence, gaming, energy, infrastructure, and hospitality. She regularly handles complex corporate matters such as shareholders disputes, company restructurings, due diligence investigations, project documentation, and the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements.
Before joining Bener, Fatoş spent over 12 years at one of Turkey’s leading law firms, where she headed the Banking, Finance, Capital Markets, and Fintech departments for 6 years. Fatoş has been consistently recognized by international legal directories such as Legal 500 and IFLR1000 for her work in complex, high-value transactions, projects and regulatory advisory
